So How Does It Work?

Getting Started

Our full music production starts with a simple scratch track (sketch) of your song. You send us a mix of your current session, an old recording of your song or a guitar/piano and vocal outline. If you only have lyrics or vocal recording - click here.

In addition to the sketch, you can send us your lyrics, as well as a description of your song’s vision. We want our work to reflect your creativity. Following this, one of our musicians will record the sketch for you to review and revise if necessary. Remember, this sketch is not going to be part of the final tracks of your song. This is just a guide for the musicians who will be recording live tracks on your song. Try to sing along with it, and make sure you’re happy with the arrangement.

Recording Your Tracks

After completing the sketch stage, we’ll record the drums, bass, guitars and keyboard tracks of your song. Once the recording of each track is complete, you’ll be able to review, request changes, approve, or order an additional take.

Recording Your Vocals

Now that we have a rough mix of your song, it’s your turn to lay down the final vocal tracks. We’ll send you full instructions on how to record and send us your vocal tracks when you get to this stage.

If you’re not a vocalist we’ve got you covered - for both front and back vocals, we have a variety of vocalists with different styles and grooves.

Mixing and Mastering

Within 48 hours of receiving your vocals, we’ll mix and master your song and send you a link to hear and download the final version of your song. (To learn more about mixing and mastering, Click Here.)

FAQs

What can I send you?

Anything you’ve got! A simple scratch track of your song, for example: a rough guide of guitar (piano)/vocal. A vocals only sketch. Or any old recording of your song will do.

100% risk free?

YES! We let you hear each step of the production and get your approval before moving to the next step. If you feel that one of our players is not right for you music, we will refund your money for any step that you didn't approve.

Who owns the rights for the tracks?

You do! We record our tracks on a work for hire basis. This means that by the end of the process, you own all of the rights of the recording. You are free to publish, reproduce or sell your song without our consent.

What about modifications and changes?

You are the boss. We will send you an MP3 preview after each instrument has been recorded for your approval. Included in the package is a free modification for each instrument (additional modifications are only $25 each).

What if I want you to use my vocals?

We will send you a rough edit after you have approved all of the instrumentals. Then you will record your vocals, send it back to us and then we will mix and master it with the rest of the project.

What about software and formatting?

Use our tracks with any software or DAW. Import our tracks to the starting point of the sketch you've sent us and you're good to go. You may choose your preferable WAV format up to 24bit, 96KHz to fit your project needs.

How do I pay for my tracks?

How do I upload my scratch track?
